Traineeship Process Overview

  • Discussion with employer and employee about what is involved in a traineeship
  • An Australian Apprenticeship Centre (AAC) meets with the employer, employee and guardian (where required) and completes the contract arrangements
  • Once all government approvals are in place Workforce Education enrols the trainee and sets up their training program
  • Training & Assessment then commences with the Workforce Education Trainer/Assessor visiting the trainee on scheduled visits in the workplace
  • The employer commencement incentive paid at the 6 month anniversary (if applicable)
  • At the completion of their qualification, a certificate is issued by Workforce Education and employer completion incentives are paid.
